General event Rules

  • Registrations are non-refundable or transferable.  NO EXCEPTIONS.  While we understand situations change, this event is a massive production and we require the same commitment as we are putting fourth.

  • Competition vehicles are required to make the entire trip under their own power.  Towing or trailering prohibited.  If a vehicle needs a tow or has to be trailered, they can tow to the next track along the rally, however they will no longer be in competition.  If they fix their vehicle at the track after towing, they can tag along and continue the route with everyone, but they will not make runs for competition purposes.

  • Competition vehicles must drive to all pit stop sponsors, and take a photo.  Photo must be a selfie style photo, or a photo taken by a 3rd party.  In any case, the driver, vehicle, and landmark must be included in 1 single photo.  Failure to do so will cause disqualification.  The photo requirements are equally important as race track time slips.  DO NOT FORGET TO TAKE YOUR PHOTOS.

  • Drivers and riders will be provided liability wavers during check in. All must be signed and turned in before making you first pass down the track.

  • Drivers between 16 and 18 years of age must be accompanied by parent or guardian for the duration of competition.

  • Competition vehicles may pull one (1) single axle trailer of any size. No "Chase vehicles" allowed for fuel or any other parts, tools, or assistance.  Racers must contain all of their spare parts, tires, wheels, tools, and equipment within their race vehicle and/or trailer, which must be towed by the race vehicle.

  • Driver & Co-Pilot may share in driving or racing duties at any time during event.

  • Only Driver/Co-Pilot wristbands are allowed to service/touch or ride in a competition vehicle.  (NO VAGABONG WRISTBANDS can drive, co-pilot, or work on competition vehicles).

  • At any time and for any reason, race staff may ask you to park in a designated area so we may observe work, repairs, or send Social Media Influencers or photographers to take photos, videos, and interviews.

  • The 3/4 Century Club Exemption:                                                                                            Competitors 75+ years of age may purchase their entry + a Vagabond entry. They may travel in the Vagabond vehicle while an assistant driver drives the race vehicle from track to track. Most of the time, our race vehicles are not built for comfort. And it's our opinion that if you've been around for 3/4 of a century, you've earned the opportunity for some extra comfort. All checkpoint rules still apply.
